Good evening! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Friday & Saturday were all work and no play except for Saturday morning pancakes before work. I followed this recipe from Heather at Heather Eats Almond Butter.
They were delicious and a hit with the husband. I’ll definitely be adding this recipe to my favorites.
Saturday evening was a little bit of this…
And a little bit of that…
We headed to a local seafood restaurant called Tacky Jack’s. I always find it awkward when there is a photo wall next to you at the restaurant. I was just hanging out with these folks.
Sunday was a very productive day around here. We have been wanting to mulch the flower beds because they were looking a little lack luster. A trip to Lowe’s was the start for these items:
Plus 10 bags of Mulch.
A sweet husband who gave up his one day off work to work on the yard with me
And some pretty hanging flower baskets for the front porch.
Before the mulch:
An in between project of adding shepherds hooks to the back walkway + flowers planted in ball jars.
The final mulched look:
The day ended with Darin cutting the grass. I looked on with a nice glass of Pinot, for moral support.
And snacked on some Watermelon. Thank God it’s back in season! Buy 1, Get 1 Free at Publix.
