Good evening friends! I hope you guys enjoyed your Sunday and some relaxation! After celebrating my friend Alex’s birthday Friday, us girls hit up the beach Saturday morning for some sun and sand.
Finds & Flavor
Hobe Sound beach is lovely and pretty deserted so you can lay out with friends, splash in the waves and soak in the sun without having to share a beach blanket with a stranger.
I love laying out with my girl friends. Much snacking and chatting was had by all.
After a good tanning session on the beach, we picked up wraps, chips, fruit and beer (the essentials) from Publix for lunch. We sat around Alex’s pool and enjoyed the food!
After lunch and some play time around the pool, I headed back home to spend time with the husband!
Fitness
When I came home we decided to go for a 2 mile run outside. It was a beautiful day out for a run but as always, extremely hot.
After our run, I completed this Cardio Circuit workout which is perfect if you want a good cardio sweat session and it’s only 20 minutes!
If you are using your Gymboss timer or any other timer, you can set it for 10 rounds of 30 seconds work, 30 seconds rest. Then take a 1 minute break and perform the second circuit the same way- 30 seconds work, 30 seconds rest.
If you aren’t sure how to do any of the workouts named above, I usually type them into Google and you can find a trainer performing them on Youtube or a fitness website explaining how to perform the exercise. Just remember, form over speed! Do these workouts as fast as you can during the work time but don’t forget to be proper with your form so you don’t injure yourself!
I’m watching the men’s running on the Olympics now and loving it! The running is my favorite part of the Olympics! I’m signing up this week for my 2nd Half Marathon and I’m so excited! I will share details with you soon
What is your favorite sport to watch for the Olympics? Which would you compete in if you could?

Hey! As usual I love your blog. I look forward to it every day😊. We have been staying up late watching swimming and gymnastics. So if I had to pick one it would be swimming. When I took gymnastics as a child I could never get up the courage to do a back flip or do anything on the balance beam. Swim I can do. Can’t wait for our beach time together!
Thank you!! I can’t wait for the beach! 2.5 weeks and counting
What a fun weekend with the girls! Geesh, your surroundings on the 2 mile run look beautiful!!
Oh I don’t just have one favorite. Love U.S women’s soccer, us womens track & field, gymnastics, & wrestling. If I had to choose any I think it’d be soccer (even though i’m awful @ it), or soccer.
It was fun!
I wish I could play soccer, it looks like fun and such a good workout!
Me too girl!! I’m the worst lol
