Good morning! And happy Saturday to you. Once again, it is raining buckets here in Florida. Sadly, Darin and I had to cancel our “adventure” that I spoke of because there is a tropical depression headed our way. We were going to go to Naples but we will re-schedule for next month!
I started off my morning with a tall glass of water with lemon in it. There are many great benefits to starting your day with water but more importantly with lemon water. It aids digestion among other things. You can read here.
Darin woke up and was hungry so I decided to make us some Egg-ritos. These Sprouted Grain Tortillas are so delicious and have only 80 calories. They are much better for you than regular tortillas.
I added some turkey to the bottom of the wrap, piled on some cheesy scrambled eggs and rolled them up!
These Egg and Turkey Burritos were so filling and flavorful! If you are going for lower calorie, I made my eggs with no cheese or turkey. 1 scrambled egg and 1 sprouted grain tortilla= 150 calories.
After breakfast, I curled up with a book from a dear friend and a cup of coffee.
I’m going to be going to work soon and then Darin and I are having date night! Pictures to come from our evening later!
