Good afternoon! I hope you guys are having a fabulous Thursday!
Fitness
Yesterday I was still recovering from my butt workout Tuesday, so I did 15 minutes of HIIT training on the treadmill (1:30 jog, :30 sprint) followed by this Arms Meet Abs workout.
I alternated two arm exercises followed by two ab exercises. You end up doing the whole thing 3x and it will leave you toned and sweaty! I used 15lb weights for the arm workouts, 10lb medicine ball for the twists and 5lb medicine ball for the full extensions.
Let me know if you try it
I made sure to stretch for a good 15 minutes after because I think I’m sore from Tuesday because I didn’t stretch enough. It is so beneficial!
Finds
I don’t know about you but I always try to save money where I can. I love to shop but spending extravagantly isn’t one of my things. I like to scout out consignment spots, antique stores and thrift stores as often I can. While visiting Atlanta last weekend, I came across this little consignment shop>> Funky Trunk Consignment. With a name like that, how I could I not stop in! Here are my finds:
White House|Black Market Black Heels. Retailed at $88, I bought them for $28 without a mark on them. I don’t like to buy used shoes normally but these didn’t look like they had even been worn.
One turquoise silky tank: $2.50 and one teal cotton blouse: $2.25
I also picked up two cute finds from a local antique store:
This necklace is perfect for double looping and hanging over a simple T-shirt or simply dangling over a summer dress. I love it: $1
The jewelry tray underneath it was also a find:
You could easily make this at home. It’s simple construction is a picture frame and fabric inside. I love this pattern and I didn’t mind dropping $1.99 for a bedroom table decor piece.
Do you like to shop thrifty? If so, what are your favorite stores?
I love it when I find the little red stickers on Target store items. It makes me feel better about the basket full of items I “needed” when stopping by for body wash.

I love the tray! Such a great idea and an easy craft.
Thanks! I love the print in it but I bet you could make so many cute ones with different prints
Wow!! Such wonderful finds!! I LOVE that necklace!! And to think, it’s only a $1!!!!
Can you take me shopping, please?!
